Hi,
I am having a problem with Dk5 (update2) with writing a VCL component.
I have added a new procedure to the public section as well as a read
only property to the public section.
I also updated some string const and the package description.
After installing the new version in the package list, the new
description is there and I can see the new property in the visual
designer.
However the code editor and compiler neither recognise the new
procedure or property.
I have tried removing all bpl's and dcu and recompile and still no go.
Tried moving the directory, reboots, restarting delphi and so on.
Nothing seems to work :/
It's almost if Delphi has cached it somewhere (I have removed it from
everywhere on the machine, using Start->Find and also by deleting the
My Doc\Borland Project folder), but where?
To add more oddness to this, the same pas files in a .Net package work
perfectly.
Any suggestions, before I need to buy a monitor and get stiches for my
fist.
